XJTLU Student Union was founded in September 2006. It is the XJTLU student autonomous organization, aiming to serve the students wholeheartedly. The 11th XJTLU student union has one president, three Vice-presidents and ten divisions——Secretariat, External Liaison Division , Student Service Centre, Academic Division, Literature & Art Division, Financial Office, Human Resources Centre, Publicity and Network Maintenance Division， Sports Division and International Division.SecretariatSecretariat links student union and the student affairs office and is the internal bridge to contact the student union and students. Secretariat takes responsibility for drafting and writing and all kinds of files management of student union, in charge of the student union mail transaction, having an important influence on the building of the image of the student union.Finance OfficeFinance Office is responsible for the student union of every item of expenditure budget and settlement, management and distribution of circulating funds and sponsorship. In the daily life, it is responsible for property management with regular financial situation of the student union.Human Resource CentreHuman Resource Centre's main job is internal examination and assessment of Student Union to supervise daily work and activities, completing the performance appraisal of each division. Other jobs are responsible for coordination of communication within the student union at the same time and the preparations of the annual student recruiting and general election.Publicity and Network Maintenance DivisionPublicity and Network Mintenance Division is responsible for Student Union magazine, Student Union event news reporting, online activities, activity materials production and Student Union online platform management. It builds the bridge of communication with the student union and students with its professional skills.Right Protecting CentreRight Protecting Centre's slogan is to serve the students heart and soul. It is positive for the students to create better learning and living environment. By accepting the opinions of the students daily to promote school timely and effective communication with students.External Liaison DivisionExternal Liaison Division works through cooperation with enterprises and merchants for various kinds of student activities, providing powerful social support. At the same time, it communicates with other universities, invites famous people and holds events and lectures, making students have the opportunity to communicate with famous people and experience for celebrities.Literature & Art DivisionLiterature & Art Division is mainly responsible for artistic performances or parties, enriching XJTLU cultural atmosphere and student's after school life. Each student has the opportunity to show himself.Sports DivisionSports Division is responsible for organizing sports events to create professional sports activities for XJTLU students. It Aims at providing a platform for all kinds of talents and build a good sports atmosphere.Academic DivisionAcademic Division is responsible for planning all kinds of academic activities and lectures, including knowledge contests, iForum, iDare. It is committed to help students create ideas and share their experiences. It aims to help students solve the learning problems, arouse the enthusiasm of the students, to make learning fun and create a good learning atmosphere for XJTLU.International DivisionThe ID is aimed to provide better service to international students, facilitate Sino-foreign communication, serve as the ‘bridge’ that connects international students with the Student Union, encourage the participation of campus activities, thus promoting the international integration. In order to achieve the transition from an activity division to a functional division, the ID will form the Translation and Interpretation Group at the Tenth Anniversary of XJTLU, which is expected to be a high-standard team. XJTLU Architecture Student Association is the only organization officially certificated by Architecture Department. We are committed to building a platform for academic exchanges and improvement of model making and designing ability on the basis of courses for architecture students and disseminating all kinds of knowledge about architecture to students who are interested in architecture.
