The 2019 iForum Season 1

The 2019 iForum Season 1 was held in G23W, on April.10 by student union. The forum themed in discussion of international integration at XJTLU.

In this session, Student Union invited international staffs and students to share their experience at XJTLU and opinions of cultural differences.

At the beginning of the session, Dean Perrin gave a general and clear introduction of XJTLU, and he said, ‘I believe that internationalization has nothing to do with the language, it is your attitude towards communication and interactions that matters the most.’

The international students Sam introduced himself and advised that: “all international students should know that they came to a foreign country not to make friends from their hometown but to experience new environment, if they don’t change a thing then nothing different will happen as well.”

Guest student and staffs introduced their experience accordingly, and audiences raised questions based on their own understanding.

Through this forum, it is hoped that students could have deeper understanding and cultivate awareness about international culture integration and jointly promote the internationalize process in XJTLU.
