Cloisonné, also known as copper-bodied cloisonné enamel, is a unique manifestation of ancient Chinese metal craftsmanship. Its name originates from the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty, when this craftsmanship was particularly popular and most pieces featured blue as the dominant hue, hence the name "Jingtai Lan."
Students learned to make a unique wire enamel coaster during this Lighthouse, and felt the charm and temperature of traditional culture in their hands.
