International Cultural Bazaar celebrates diversity

On March 29, 2024, the second International Cultural Bazaar was successfully held in the central lake plaza of the South Campus. As an annual club event of XJTLU, ICB showed the diverse cultures of our university and promoted cross-cultural exchanges in the form of clubs.

Over 130 student clubs and organizations participated in the event. Each club planned a variety of engaging activities and took the opportunity to recruit new members, injecting fresh vitality into their clubs.

The event featured a cultural marketplace themed around four major regions: Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe. It displayed cultural traditions from around the world and offered a variety of speciality foods from different countries, allowing every participant to experience the charm of cross-cultural exchange firsthand.

In addition, the central lake stage hosted captivating singing and dancing performances by students, bringing the event atmosphere to a vibrant climax. All the staff and students from different places gathered to celebrate this grand cultural festival together.

This International Cultural Bazaar successfully showcased the limitless possibilities of multicultural integration through the vibrant activities of student clubs, adding a brilliant touch of international flavour to campus life!
