Group Name: Xian Jiaotong Liverpool University Symphony Orchestra (former as the Orchestra)Founding Time: 2010Group Member: The group has been constantly expanding in the eight years since the establishment, growing from a group with a small amount of people to a cluster owns 51 members.Group Composition: XJTLU Symphony Orchestra is an organization with its own independent administrative framework. The daily events including the rehearsals, activities and performances of all members who divide the different responsibility, and they are all leaded by the president and two vice presidents whose separately in charge of propaganda and group services. As a Symphony Orchestra, meanwhile, the chief, vice chief and conductor are all nominated by the professional teacher, and they will lead the head of every voice part to conduct careful exercises of all the song to make sure we will present fantastic works on the stage.Group Vision: As a portion of students’ organization, every member of the orchestra considers this group as one big warm family. Everyone gains the happiness and touchiness of cooperation and helping each other from daily rehearsals and performances, and we all hope we could show our enthusiasm for music to every audience through each single hardworking rehearsal and perfect performance to make the orchestra will become the unique groups of school that we could all proud of.Group Achievements: As a musical and artistic organization, orchestra presents two fabulous shows annually which are spring concerts and new year concerts in winter, featuring Chinese Orchestra, Chorus and Dance Troupe to bring audience dual enjoyment of visual and hearing. Also, we are essential in the big events of school such as the anniversary performance, forum and award ceremony nights to enrich the content and bring more delight. The orchestra recruit amazing players constantly to increase size, students will hold some interesting small performances such as flash mob and chamber concerts voluntarily as well. The students from the orchestra will enjoy themselves as well as bringing beautifully enjoyment and promoting the artistic accomplishment of all the teachers and students from the university through these various styles of methods and performances.

Handpan Community is a group dedicated to sharing and teaching handpan music, promoting this unique musical form and playing style. We welcome all friends who love handpan music to join us. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn handpan playing techniques, explore different music.

The AC·News Team is a student-led group under the XJTLU ArtsCentre, focused on documenting and promoting campus arts. Comprised of Reporter, photo(video)graphy, design and new media sections, the team conducts on-site interviews, captures behind-the-scenes moments.

Campus Tour is an association affiliated with XJTLU Arts Centre. Since its founding in 2023, Campus Tour has been based on XJTLU's unique teaching facilities and campus scenery. Visitors will experience campus culture through the guidance and explanation of docents.

The wind-gear rollerskating club was set up in 2010. The originator is Yongzhe Zhu . The population of our member is now over 100. Wind-gear rollerskating club is ranked as Level-A associations .Every Tuesday and Thursday night routine activities are organized at Xiacheng Square where experienced student coaches teach members a variety of skills, for instance, speed skating and freestyle slalom. Apart from the routine activity, wind-gear rollerskating club organizes activities to Yangcheng Lake and East Mountain every year. These two activities are available for all students in XJTLU. In addition, the club play an active part in school activities where members perform skating dance twice a year, which is of great reputation. Furthermore, the members often participate in all kinds of matches. In 29th national speed skating champion, the members ranked 7th in 1,000m women speed race, 12th and 16th in 1,000m men speed race. In 2016, the members ranked 3rd and 6th in 300m speed race, 5th and 6th in 1,000m speed race and 4th in freestyle slalom with all competitors from Jiangsu province.                                                                  Finally, wind-gear rollerskating club welcome everyone who likes rollerskating to join in.
