Event Content

With the acceleration of globalization, economic ties among nations have grown increasingly close. Emerging industries are rapidly developing worldwide, making the establishment and refinement of international trade rules in these new domains a critical issue. As a product of the new era, artificial intelligence (AI) suffers from a significant lack of relevant international legislation, particularly when it comes to trade issues with implications for national security. How should the law be applied in such contexts? How should responsibility boundaries be defined? These are questions worthy of deep consideration. This English Moot Court takes these issues as its central theme, aiming to help students better understand international law, broaden their horizons, engage in rational deliberation, and align more closely with global perspectives, thereby fostering their development as global citizens.

We are honored to have successfully invited Duke Kunshan University, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, and Soochow University to join us in this event. Together, we will engage in legal discourse on cutting-edge issues by authentically simulating a common-law court environment, breaking free from the constraints of traditional legal statutes, and capturing the pulse of our time.
