The competition will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. It is divided into four major categories: Go, Chinese chess, Gomoku, and international chess, with a total of seven rounds.
The competition consists of individual and team events. For the team event, schools can form a team with a minimum of three participants. During the competition, all matches will be conducted in the individual format. In the individual event, the top six finishers will be awarded. The first to third places will receive trophies and certificates, while the fourth to sixth places will be given certificates.
For the team event, schools will form teams. In the Go and Chinese chess categories, the total scores of the top three highest-scoring players from each school will be compared, and the top three schools will be awarded trophies and certificates. In the Gomoku and international chess categories, the total scores of the highest-scoring player from each school will be compared, and the top school will be awarded a trophy and certificate.
