Briefly introducing the background of traditional Chinese painting in the beginning of the activity with professor Yuan’s guidance. Then giving students the opportunities to experience the process of painting and writing by brush pen on Tuan-sha and the professor will be around to help and teach. Exhibiting the beauty and culture of Chinese traditional culture through integrating conventional fans and calligraphy.

With the arrival of Qingming, the fifth solar term of spring, the weather is gradually getting hotter. 
Tuan-shan, as a traditional Chinese Han craft, brings coolness when we are flapping it. Sinology Club collaborated with Ms. Yuan to plan an activity of painting, writing and stamping by calligraphy on the fans to show the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. The teacher bilingually explained the rules of using and reading traditional stamping, teaching students how to control the splashing of ink to sketch and draw.
Both the international student and club members listened attentively and created a variety of works with their own unique styles in a relaxed and focused atmosphere.
