Event Content

  1. Opening speech: The head of the club or the instructor introduces the background, purpose and process of the activity, welcomes the participation of students, and briefly explains the importance and application prospect of the Internet of Things in modern science and technology to stimulate students' interest and expectation.
  2. Technical explanation and demonstration: Professional teachers or experienced technicians will be arranged to explain the basic knowledge of esp32 and esp8266 development board, including hardware structure, working principle, pin function, etc., and demonstrate how to design a simple hardware circuit, as well as the code programming method based on arduino, and show how to connect the developed equipment to homekit. Realize the intelligent control of the equipment, so that students have a clear understanding of the whole development process.
  3. Group practice operation: divide the students into several groups, each group is equipped with a set of hardware materials such as development board, sensor, connection cable and computer programming tools. Instructors tour and guide each group to help students solve problems encountered in the process of hardware construction and code writing, encourage students to be creative and design unique functions of intelligent iot devices, such as smart home control systems, environmental monitoring devices, etc., to cultivate students' innovative thinking and teamwork ability.
  4. Work display and sharing: each team sends representatives to show the intelligent iot devices developed by the group, explain the functions, implementation principles and innovation points of the devices, and share the harvest and experience in the development process. Students in other groups can ask questions and communicate, promote mutual learning and inspiration, and further improve everyone's understanding and application ability of iot technology.
  5. Activity summary and awards: review and summarize the works of each group, affirm the efforts and achievements of the students, commend and reward the groups with excellent performance, and issue honorary certificates and small prizes to encourage students to continue to maintain their enthusiasm and enthusiasm for scientific and technological exploration, and lay a solid foundation for future learning and development.
