We’re excited to invite you to an exclusive screening of Sully, the captivating film based on the true story of Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who miraculously landed a commercial airliner on the Hudson River. This event will be held at the Aviation Wings, where aviation enthusiasts and movie lovers alike can come together to celebrate heroism, quick thinking, and the wonders of flight.
Academic Clubs
Aviation Wings is an academic club founded by XJTLU students in November 2019. Its name was a combination of the aviation industry and XJTLU’s motto (Light and Wings). The club aims to establish a sharing platform where different people can exchange their knowledge about the aviation industry, and try to establish the combination of Aviation and University, Aviation and Region, Aviation and Major. Additionally, the club is working to narrow the gap between the aviation industry and the general public through popularization lectures, business site visits, and other activities. Feeling aviation is untouchable？ Need to be knowledgeable to join the club ？ Wrong！ Anyone interested in aviation, scientific research, and even start up business is welcomed. We are young and innovative. The combination of aviation industry and different majors is strongly encouraged. Let us learn and have fun.
