2025 Art Association Dance Troupe Audition DetailsImportant Notice 

Audition Schedule:

• Date: September 15th
• Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Venue: Room G12, Building CB
• Individual audition times and sequences will be notified via email and WeChat

Dress Code:

• If available, please wear performance costumes
• If not, please wear practice attire (leotard or gymnastics suit)
• Dance shoes should be soft-soled practice shoes

Audition Content:

1. Prepared Dance
   • Bring a complete dance piece or dance segment
   • Any style accepted (modern, classical, folk, etc.)
   • Minimum duration: 2.5 minutes
2. Basic Skills
   • Demonstrate fundamental leg and waist movements
   • Feel free to showcase any special techniques (within safe limits)
3. Improvisation
   • We will play a random piece of music
   • You will have 20 seconds to prepare
   • You can stop the performance at any time during improvisation
4. Imitation
   • We will teach a short 8-count dance sequence
   • You will learn and perform the sequence on the spot

Note:
The audition consists of four sections. Please don't be nervous. This audition aims to assess your overall abilities, and we look forward to welcoming you to our Art Association Dance Troupe family!
