At the end of May Day, we entered the twelfth week of study. In order to let members feel the charm of history and enhance their understanding of part of history, we decided to hold an academic salon to analyze the decline of the Austrian Empire. The Austrian Empire, the largest successor of Shinra and the Central European powers, collapsed after just five emperors. This salon will analyze the reasons for the decline of the Austrian Empire from a series of historical events such as the 1848 revolution, the Crimean War, the Franco-Austrian and Austro-Austrian wars, and the establishment and division of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Founded in 2011, History Club aims at providing cultural atmosphere on campus. As an active academic society, we not only conduct academic research, but also try to make history integrated into our lives. History Club regularly organizes outing museum tours, humanities lectures, film screenings, books sharing, traditional food tasting, etc. At the same time, History Club is also responsible for sorting out and distributing materials for CCT series courses (freshman compulsory subjects). Therefore, every member of our club can obtain reviewing material, access to various activities, and a lot of follow-up benefits! If you desire knowledge and cultural experience, join our family of History Club!
