Open to all registered members, the 1st Intra-club Singles Competition of the Tennis Club features two categories: Men's Singles (Group A & B) and Women's Singles (Group A & B), adopting a combined format of group stage and knockout stage. During the group stage, players in each group compete in a round-robin format, with 1 point for a win and 0 points for a loss, and the top 2 players in each group advance to the knockout stage; the knockout stage follows a single-elimination system, where advancing players compete in the matchup of "1st in Group A VS 2nd in Group B, 2nd in Group A VS 1st in Group B" — winners fight for the championship and runner-up, while losers play for the third place. Each match uses a 6-game winning system (tie-break for deuce), with reasonable rest periods arranged throughout to ensure players' physical fitness. Catering to members of different skill levels, the tournament offers practical experience for beginners and a communication platform for experienced members; it is open for watching throughout, and a sharing session will be organized after the event. The schedule for this competition has been finalized, and similar intra-club tournaments will be held regularly next semester — all members are welcome to participate actively, and you are also invited to bring friends to sign up and experience.
