Group A from Season 15 of “Win in XJTLU” accepted the exclusive interview with SOSN reporter on 10^th , May. Their achievement includes more than 500 followers and 38 social practice groups, and they finally won the first prize in Season 15.

“The atmosphere of our first group meeting was excellent, which surprised me a lot.” Liu Fuyuan recalled. No need to worry about whether everyone would devoted into the activity, he made up his mind to do his best. “We should be responsible not only for our club as a leader, but also for our group A as a member.” He said. 

They concluded two primary difficulties in the first meeting. First is the delivery of information. In order to keep volunteers informed of the latest information, they set up two group chats including more than 500 volunteers. Additionally, they held a forum in FB 1W, in which volunteers could learn some experience about project selection, research steps and defense skills from seniors. They also made a short video to answer some common questions raised by volunteers. Another difficulty was the publicity. They found some famous official accounts in WeChat and publish articles on them to expand their popularity. 

When it came to the most unforgettable event during this activity, they all mentioned “replying messages”. Luan Chenqi told, “Every night after I returned  dormitory, I always kept silent for a long time, being buried in replying the messages.” However, an accident still occurred even in this circumstance. “We were told that the presentation could be given in Chinese. However, when it was about to begin, the group leaders received an email claiming that they should speak English during the presentation.” Zhao Wei recalled. At that time, the only thing they could do was to apologize and help group members calm down. They reflected that they would like to find a better method to solve this problem if they have another chance. 

Everyone in group A thought they gained a lot during the activity process. Zhou Xiaohan said she learned “brainstorm” as a way to hold a meeting. Just like Luan Chenqi said: “This process of fighting for an initial goal with full efforts would be a motivation, inspiring us to keep going when encountering setback in the future.”
