Nanjing, a modern metropolis that carries the profound history of six ancient capitals, has a unique urban texture and spatial layout deeply imprinted on the natural geographical framework it relies on. This academic lecture will focus on the integrated urban characteristics of "mountains, water, city, and forests" in Nanjing, and delve into how natural geographical elements have shaped and constrained its urban planning in the past, present, and future.
On Tuesday, October 14th, from 7 to 8 p.m., Yang Yixuan and Lu Yuanlai from the Academic Department will present a lecture titled "The Natural Geography and Urban Planning of Nanjing". We welcome everyone to attend on time!
Rooted in XJTLU, we aim to serve all the geographic fans.We plan to provide a platform for XJTLU geographic enthusiasts to communicate, learn and practice. At the same time, we intend to popularize geographic expertise and interesting knowledge to the whole school so as to enhance the influence of Geography in teachers and students, nurture the learning atmosphere of geography, cultivate the geographic discipline literacy of teachers and students and encourage everyone to apply geography to interdisciplinary learning.
