Competition rules: The competition adopts the point system.
Chinese chess: The latest "Chess Competition Rules (2011)" is implemented. Each chess game takes 25 minutes plus 10 seconds for both sides. Each win counts as 2 points, each loss counts as 0 points, and each draw counts as 1 point.
Go: The "Chinese Go Competition Rules (2002 Edition)" approved by the Chinese Go Association and issued in 2002 is adopted. Each go game takes 25 minutes plus 10 seconds for both sides. The black side goes first.
Chess: The "Current Chess Competition Rules (2000)" is adopted. Each chess game takes 25 minutes plus 10 seconds for both sides. Each win counts as 2 points, each loss counts as 0 points, and each draw counts as 1 point.
Gobang: The "Chinese Gobang Competition Rules (2013 Edition)" revised by the General Administration of Sport's Chess and Card Center in 2013 is adopted. The slower player in gobang has 5 minutes plus 5 seconds per game. Each win counts as 1 point, and each draw counts as 1 point. The rule of forbidden moves is adopted, and players need to point out when the black player makes a forbidden move, otherwise it is invalid. Each round, both sides play two games.
If the contestant is late, the bell will be struck, and if the contestant is more than 15 minutes late, they will be disqualified.
The competition is divided into individual events and team events. For the team event, a minimum of three registered players is required to form a team representing their school. However, the competition format during the event will be individual.
For the individual events: Top 8 contestants in Go and Chess will receive awards. The first place winner will receive a trophy, certificate, and cash prize, while the second to eighth place winners will receive certificates and cash prizes.
Top 6 contestants in Gomoku and International Chess will receive awards. The first place winner will receive a trophy, certificate, and cash prize, while the second to sixth place winners will receive certificates and cash prizes.
For the team event: Schools will be the teams. For Go and Chess, the top three schools with the highest total scores will be compared, and the first place school will receive a trophy, certificate, and cash prize, while the top three schools will receive certificates and cash prizes.
For Gomoku and International Chess, the school with the highest total score will receive a trophy, certificate, and cash prize.
Registration for this competition is free, but contestants must pay a deposit of 100 yuan, which will be refunded after the competition. If a contestant cannot participate due to any reason, they must notify at least one week before the competition, otherwise, the deposit will not be refunded.
