The 2018 kick off meeting of XJTLU summer social practice was organized successfully in the multifunctional hall G13W on May 16th. This ceremony was sponsored by the Student Club Service Center and undertaken by Volunteer Academy.

Before the ceremony started, more than one thousand students who will participate in the summer social practice signed their names on the signature wall and flagged their destinations on the map wall. That was a rite of their promise. They promised to go to those places around the world with their exploring spirit.

During the ceremony, the vice-president of XJTLU Qiuling. Chao first delivered a speech to express her concern and affection for the students. She emphasized the importance of safety and said she was gratified due to students' enthusiasm. Moreover, the speech of Volunteer Representative also motivated students to develop the spirit of persistence. Afterwards, the flag bearing the XJTLU’s logo was transmitted among all the students. Finally, the balloon held by students was flied. The drone raised slowly to record every young and thoughtful face.

The curtain has been rung down. However, the spirit of exploration and the impetus of practice will never die.
