Feedback on AAI Club's Autumn Recruitment Interview Activity in 2025
On September 7, 2025, the AAI Artificial Intelligence Association successfully conducted the autumn recruitment interview activity at FB207. The purpose of this interview is to select a new group of potential and enthusiastic students to join the club, injecting new vitality into the club. After careful organization and rigorous screening, about 50 new students were successfully admitted, of which 30 expressed their intention to join the club department. Here is the detailed feedback on this recruitment interview activity:
1、 Review of Activity Process
1. Check in and waiting: Before the interview begins, the staff should arrive at the venue in advance and prepare for check-in. The freshmen arrived one after another and took their seats in the waiting area after signing in. The on-site order was orderly, and the staff provided enthusiastic guidance to ensure the smooth progress of the interview.
2. Interview session: The interview is divided into two parts: self introduction and question answering. Each new student has 3-5 minutes to introduce themselves, showcasing their strengths and interest in AI. Subsequently, the interviewer raises relevant questions based on the background and interests of the new students to further understand their abilities and potential. During the interview process, the new students showed a positive attitude and demonstrated a strong interest and enthusiasm for AI.
3. Interviewer evaluation: After the interview, interviewers conduct a comprehensive evaluation based on the performance of the new students. The evaluation criteria include professional knowledge, communication skills, teamwork spirit, and passion for AI. After careful discussion, the admission list was finally determined, and preliminary classification was carried out for students who are interested in joining the department.
4. Result notification: The interview results are timely notified to each student participating in the interview through the official channels of the community (such as WeChat group, official account, etc.). For admitted students, the club provides further guidance and information to help them better integrate into the club.
2、 Event Highlights
1. Efficient organization: The recruitment interview activity was organized efficiently and the process was smooth. The staff prepared the venue layout and check-in in advance to ensure that the interview started on time. During the interview process, each link was closely connected without any significant delays or confusion.
2. High enthusiasm among freshmen: The freshmen who participated in the interview showed extremely high enthusiasm and initiative. They fully demonstrated their interest and enthusiasm for AI in their self introduction, and many classmates also shared their learning and project experiences in the field of AI. This enthusiasm not only brings new vitality to the club, but also inspires interviewers to evaluate each candidate more seriously.
3. Diverse backgrounds: The admitted freshmen come from different professional backgrounds, including computer science, mathematics, finance, accounting, etc. This diverse background provides rich resources for interdisciplinary activities of the club, which helps promote the integration and development of the club in multiple fields.
3、 Follow up work arrangement
1. Departmental division of labor arrangement: Although 30 new students have expressed their intention to join the department, the specific departmental division of labor arrangement still needs further discussion. The club plans to hold a department head meeting in the near future to make reasonable division of labor arrangements based on the new students' professional background and interests, as well as the actual needs of each department. The goal is to complete departmental division of labor by the end of September and notify each new student.
2. New member training: In order to help new members integrate into the club faster, the club plans to organize a new member training activity in early October. The training content will include the history, organizational structure, activity process, and basic knowledge of AI of the club. Through training, new members will have a more comprehensive understanding of the club, laying a solid foundation for future participation in activities.
3. Establish communication channels: In order to strengthen communication with new members, the club will establish a dedicated freshman exchange group. Through this platform, new members can stay up-to-date with the latest developments of the club, raise questions and suggestions, and promote communication and cooperation among each other.
4、 Improvement suggestions
1. Increase the number of interviewers: During this interview process, due to the limited number of interviewers, some interview sessions were slightly tight. It is recommended to increase the number of interviewers appropriately in future recruitment interviews to ensure that each new student receives sufficient evaluation and communication opportunities.
2. Optimize the interview process: Although the overall process is relatively smooth, there is still room for optimization in some details. For example, some AI related promotional materials or videos can be set up in the waiting area to allow freshmen to learn more about the club and AI during the waiting process, easing their tension.
3. Advance release of interview guide: It is recommended to release the interview guide through the official channels of the club before the interview, including the interview process, evaluation criteria, common questions, etc. This will help freshmen better prepare for interviews and improve interview effectiveness.

Through this interview, the club successfully selected a group of promising and enthusiastic new members, laying a solid foundation for the future development of the club.
